Dufferin Waste provides weekly collection of waste throughout the County.

Updates

Starting September 2nd, our office is located at 55 Zina Street, Orangeville. Entry to the building is from 10 Louisa Street (northeast side of the building). There will be signs directing you. Please visit dufferincounty.ca for more information about the move to 55 Zina Street.

We’re open from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).

For new or replacement Green Bins and Kitchen Collectors, please call us at 519-941-2816 ext. 2620 or visit our office during opening hours.

For missed collections, and recycling inquiries, please call GFL at 1-888-941-3345 ext. 1.

The County of Dufferin is updating the Long-Term Waste Management Strategy, and we want to hear from residents and program users! An Update from Circular Materials – We are pleased to share the following update for Dufferin County residents. Residents will begin receiving their new recycling carts starting March 2026. For residents interested in receiving a smaller 240-litre recycling cart vs. the standard 360-litre recycling cart, residents may complete a Recycling Cart Request Form that will be posted on the Circular Materials website from mid-December 2025 through to January 15, 2026. The Request Form will enable our recycling contractor to procure smaller carts in time for delivery. Circular Materials will let residents know as soon as the Form and supporting information are available. Thank you for your support while we worked to find a solution to better support your recycling needs. Please continue to use your blue boxes and blue bags for collections until the blue cart rollout.
