Emergency Response Plan
Dufferin County and the eight-member municipalities have adopted an Emergency Response Plan to guide their response to emergencies. The plan has been prepared to facilitate a controlled and coordinated response to any type of emergency occurring within or affecting the municipality. The plan provides key officials, agencies, and municipal departments with an overview of their responsibilities during an emergency.
In addition to the Emergency Response Plan, Dufferin County has developed a Community Risk Profile, detailing community vulnerabilities and capacities as determined through a Hazardous Identification and Risk Assessment process.
