Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste events are back in Dufferin County!
Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste (HHEW) events are back again this year! Bring your old paint, motor oil, fluorescent bulbs, broken printers and more to an event for proper disposal and recycling.
HHEW events help keep toxic materials from ending up in the environment. Last year, residents helped keep 140 tonnes of hazardous waste out of the landfill. Let’s keep it up!
Attend the first event of the year on Saturday, April 26 at the Shelburne Operations Centre (124 Luxton Way) from 8 am to 3 pm.
Visit dufferincounty.ca/waste for a list of acceptable items and limitations and a list of additional events in the spring and summer.
Dufferin County residents can attend any scheduled event throughout the year. For regular updates on special events, follow Dufferin Waste on Facebook and X and download the Dufferin Waste App on your Apple or Android device.
