C74-21 Administrative Clerk

Reporting to the Dufferin County Community Support Services Manager Administrative Clerk is responsible for processing and maintaining client, volunteer and care provider information as well as providing support for the daily operation of DCCSS.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and distribute invoices to clients for applicable programs and monitor outstanding payments.
  • Assists DCCSS staff with clerical support.
  • Attends to family, clients, and consumers’ inquiries.
  • Maintains supply of office forms, manuals, applications, handbooks, etc.
  • Maintains current records on volunteers, care providers and clients.
  • Typing and filing of all minutes, reports, policies and correspondence as required by manager.
  • Answers telephone, takes messages and returns information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum Community College Diploma, preferably in the field of Office Administration.
  • Experience in accounting an asset.
  • Proven experience in secretarial/clerical office support for at least two years.
  • Superior computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as communication and written skills.
  • Knowledge of community based health care industry an asset.
